QA / Inventory Controller

The Pallion group operates facilities across Australia, Hong Kong, and mainland China. Pallion designs, manufactures, and distributes precious metal products and services across a number of specialist areas including Bullion, Refining and Minting, Casting and Jewellery, Fabricated Metals, Findings, and Vaulting.
We are currently seeking a Quality Assurance Stock Controller to join our Palloys team in Marrickville, Sydney.
Key Responsibilities
- Inspect jewellery in both finished and semi-finished form to identify manufacturing defects and quality issues.
- Document and communicate defects to the relevant teams through clear reporting where corrective action is required.
- Conduct minor inventory counts daily and weekly, and major inventory counts monthly, reporting results to the Inventory Manager.
- Use internal systems to analyse stock levels and forecast inventory requirements, ensuring timely stock replenishment.
- Collaborate with the CAM and Casting teams to identify quality trends and assist with planning to reduce defects and improve processes.
About You
- Strong time management skills, with the ability to adjust priorities quickly in a high-volume environment.
- Exceptional attention to detail and a proactive approach to identifying improvements.
- Excellent organisation and communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced production environment.
- Strong IT skills, particularly with Excel and enterprise systems (experience with Microsoft Dynamics is advantageous).
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in a similar quality assurance, production, or inventory role.
- Jewellery industry experience or bench knowledge is advantageous, but not essential.
