Pallion is seeking a Junior Warehouse Operator to join the team, located in Marrickville.

Pallion designs, manufactures, and distributes precious metal products and related services. Pallion entities offer the following services: Bullion; Refining and Minting; Casting and Jewellery; Fabricated Metals; Findings and Vaulting.
  
About the role:

• Maintain warehouse cleanliness, conducting regular cleaning and tidying up of goods, including company vehicles.
• Assist with SKU transactions and any other incoming requests.
• Assist with all incoming goods, ensuring correct stock is received and put away correctly. Ensure incoming product is clean and undamaged and meets company standards.
• Assist with controlling and tracking inventory levels by conducting cycle counts and comparing to inventory list, adjusting as necessary.
• Assist with maintaining all Warehouse stock movements and deliveries.
• Ensure all Work, Health and Safety standards are upheld, and that all company policies are adhered to.
• Conduct daily check of the forklift, recording information in forklift checklist. Report any issues immediately and ensure that safety policies are followed until resolved.
• Transportation of requisitioned goods from the warehouse to manufacturing sites using the company vehicle as required.

  
About you:

• 1 year experience in a warehouse environment is preferable.
• Will accept school leavers.
• Can do attitude, self-motivated and accountable for actions and results.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Numerate with a high level of attention to accuracy and detail.
• Ability to work under pressure in peak periods.
• Driver’s License, manual preferable.
