Since 2014, SWL has gifted over $6.5 million to the Australian Red Cross and supported 29 programs benefiting families and communities here in Australia and across the globe.

SWL has become one of Australia’s leading giving circles driven by strong, dedicated women who share a social conscience and want to effect change through the world’s largest humanitarian network, the Red Cross. At this year’s gala, SWL launched its latest initiative, Rising Women Leaders (RWL) for young female leaders commencing their philanthropic journey.

Pallion is proud of its own strong women leaders and sees great synergy with SWL. Pallion’s global team exceeds the average for women in the manufacturing industry by 15% and this year the Workplace Gender Equality Agency (WGEA) publicly reported that Pallion has a gender-neutral remuneration policy based on equal pay for male and female workers. Pallion is very proud to have overcome historic barriers to provide better wages and financial security for women.

The Gidget Foundation Australia is a not-for-profit organisation that exists to support the emotional wellbeing of expectant and new parents to ensure they receive timely, appropriate and specialist care.

Perinatal depression and anxiety impact around 100,000 Australians each year. New data from Gidget Foundation Australia reveals one in two (51%) Sydney parents are lacking both emotional and practical support from their family and friends, while one in three (28%) felt a loss of identity in most aspects of their life after having a baby.

Pallion has proudly supported the Gidget Foundation in opening Gidget Houses nationally. Gidget Houses allow new parents access to free specialist perinatal counselling sessions. At Pallion we are committed to family and supporting our teams through early parenthood.

Australia was built on agriculture and our rural communities. Many members of our Pallion team originates from rural Australia with agriculture still accounting for 55% of all Australian land use. It is imperative we protect these communities through mounting pressures from international markets, changing weather patterns and cost of living.

Active Farmers takes a grassroots approach to rural health and well-being, with a focus on addressing the concerning issues of poor mental health and alarming suicide rates in rural Australia.

45% of Aussie Farmers have had thoughts of self-harm or suicide, while 30% have attempted self-harm or suicide.

People who exercise regularly have better mental health and emotional wellbeing, and lower rates of mental illness. Exercise is also proven to boost our mood, concentration and alertness, and improve cardiovascular and overall physical health.

Active Farmers brings people together through exercise to build stronger and more resilient rural communities. Regular group fitness sessions are delivered by local qualified Fitness Professionals and tailored for rural communities who have limited to no access to fitness resources.
