ABC Bullion and parent company, Pallion, were very proud to support the 2025 Tour de Cure Brisbane Long Lunch last week.
This engaging, annual event is pivotal in raising funds for cancer research and breakthroughs. This year’s Long Lunch was focused on raising all-important funds for the Sony Foundation’s ‘You Can Stay’ Program.
In Australia, 1/3 of all cancer patients are from regional or rural areas and many are required to travel to cities for cancer treatment unavailable closer to their homes. Alarmingly, living more than 200km from hospital can reduce the chances of surviving cancer by 30%. The Sony Foundation’s ‘You Can Stay’ Program provides free and uncapped accommodation in self-contained apartments for youth cancer patients from regional areas giving them the chance to access the best cancer care available.
Pallion and ABC Bullion were very proud to be the Gold Partners of this successful event, which raised over $532,000, and are passionate about ensuring all Australians survive youth cancer and thrive beyond!
